ELLIE
Ellie is very independent and strong willed, with sharp wit and a slightly sarcastic nature. She says what she thinks. From a young age she took on a great deal of responsibility in place of their mother, looking after Sam. As a result she is very protective and sometimes bossy towards him. Being constantly let down through life, she has learnt to rely on herself, finding it difficult to trust others or develop new relationships. She values loyalty above all. Behind her hardened exterior, she is very caring and loving to those closest to her.

SAM
A practical joker at heart, Sam is difficult not to love, with his infectious laughter, curiosity and innocence. Whilst this is part of his personality, his energetic side stems from a lack of attention during his upbringing, and hence his mood can be quite volatile and he can get easily distracted / go into his own world. He is a kind and caring character, perceptive of other people’s emotions. He is a creative thinker and intelligent.
